About Me

Well, first of all, this isn’t about me. It’s about you – and helping you take whatever next step(s) you need on your life’s journey. It’s my job to be your coach, collaborator, and champion.

As a Certified Professional Coach and Certified Hypnotherapist, I am a member of the International Coaching Federation, the American Hypnosis Association, and the Gay Coaches Alliance.

I’ve always been curious, creative, and focused on possibilities. My personal hero’s journey is to become the best version of myself and do my part to make the world a better place.

I’ve studied mindfulness, the enneagram, meditation, and nonviolent communication and incorporate them into my life and coaching.

For over 30 years, I worked in government and nonprofit organizations to help individuals and organizations grow and succeed. Now, I do the same as a coach. I have an MFA in Theater and an MBA in Nonprofit Management. I believe that the arts and creativity, in general, can be transformative in a person’s life.

Three fun facts about me:

I was an internationally known soap and candle maker, teaching hundreds of thousands of readers online and in my book “The Complete Photo Guide to Soapmaking.”

My very first job was at Chuck E. Cheese as Chuck E. Cheese. Yes, I was the guy in the costume being silly at your birthday party.

I’ve been to all seven continents.
